It is necessary to examine the life of Yeshua from birth to death with an open mind, placing it in its human context, and in the world that existed in his time. Few of the books written on the life of Jesus pay much attention to the lives and activities of the disciples and apostles who followed him around. Little is written about their associations and lives after their time spent with him. Yeshua: a.k.a. Jesus the Nazarene, which is essentially Philip’s story and the story of Jesus as told by him, details the humanness of the disciples and of Jesus himself. Jesus is seen as a person: wise and heroic, but subject to the same qualities as every other human being.
